Rallings History…

Rallings Labels has a long history in Brisbane.  It was founded in 1930 by Earnest Rallings, who was a commercial printer by day and a printing teacher by night, in a small premise on Annerley Road, Wooloongabba.  His two sons, Earnest Jnr and Sydney, joined the business and it became known as Rallings and Rallings.  Upon the passing of one of the brothers Trevor Rowlinson purchased a half share in 1972, he then completed the purchase in 1974.  He began printing labels and stickers at this time, calling this entity Treden Labels (Treden was simply a shortening of both his and his wifes’ first names – Trevor & Denise).  Rallings and Rallings was a commercial printing business which focused on all types of printing from business cards, through to letterheads, magazines, docket books etc.  Treden Labels was a roll fed label printing business which quickly grew to be very successful.

In 2002, Brad and Leisa Low purchased Rallings and Rallings and combined the two businesses under one company calling it Rallings Print Group Pty Ltd.  In 2008 with the market rapidly shrinking the commercial printing part of the company was sold and Rallings Print Group continued printing in the niche market of labels and stickers.  Whilst we are still Rallings Print Group Pty Ltd, we trade as Rallings Labels to let people know that our specialty is self-adhesive sticker and label printing.

Over the last 10 years Brad and Leisa have turned Rallings Labels into a boutique label and sticker printing company, with a focus on craftsmanship and creative design.  They stand out from the traditional printer you may have experience with.  You don’t just get a quote from Rallings -they are a full service printer.  Whether you need to make that transition to professional branding or you need fresh eyes looking at your established brand you’re in good hands.  They can work closely with your design team or introduce you to their team of creative specialists.
When you are part of the Rallings family you quickly realise why you want them working for you.
